This book presents and discusses research in the study of polymers. Topics discussed
include extrusion heads used in manufacturing polymeric castings; effects of polypropylene
fibers on expansion properties of cement-based composite containing waste glass;
biodegradation of film polymer coating; new polymer technologies with water and physicalchemical
properties of natural polymers.
Chapter 1 – On the basis of executed theoretical and experimental investigations highly
productive constructions of extrusion heads used in manufacturing polymeric casings for
preventing pipes from corrosion were worked out. Constructions of extrusion heads used in
manufacturing of outer and inner casing for pipes are represented in the following paragraphs.
The order of calculations of forming channels of extrusion heads are represented here too.
